DECIDE is all set to join the International Conference on Genetic Counselling happening at the Wellcome Genome Campus in Hinxton, United Kingdom, from October 25 to 27. We’ve got three poster presentations lined up. This is a fantastic chance to chat about communicating genetic information within families with the global genetic counselling community.

- Milena Paneque will present the protocol of the project Deliberating genetic risks: protocol for a prospective, multi-method study on patient decision-making and disclosure from genetic counselling to the family“
- Maria Barbosa will present the results of the literature review “What process studies in genetic counseling can teach us about the communication of genetic information to family members: a scoping review”
- And Sofia Fontoura Dias will present the results of a literature review “Communicating genetic information in families with late-onset neurological diseases: a scoping review”.
